#198 – Can We Find Empowerment Through Sports?
As a former coach of my daughter’s soccer teams, I am very excited about my guest on this week’s episode of The Alden Report. Aaron Velky is an entrepreneur, author, business coach, investor, speaker and the co-founder and chief executive officer of the Money Club. With over 9 years of coaching experience, NCAA Division I soccer playing experience, and more than 6,000 hours of coaching girls, he is the author of the book Let Her Play which is an essential guide for any parent who has a daughter playing sports and an unbiased coaching position on what’s happening in youth sports all across the globe as pressures rise and stakes get higher.
After retiring from coaching and publishing Let Her Play, he jumped full force into conscious business leadership. His company has won a 2018 BBB Spark Award, recognized as one of few organizations that have an outstanding company culture, something he now shares with his coaching clients and through his financial wellness programs for leading businesses. He has created several companies and dozens of financial education resources that have reached international audiences to help them develop financial intelligence and has coached hundreds of entrepreneurs and young athletes. His efforts to create more financial education and deliver it through the workplace have given organizations a chance to change their culture for the better.
Thank you very much to Aaron Velky for joining us this week on The Alden Report.
