#184 – Is it Possible to Bring Back Made In America?

If you’re interested in learning about an individual and a company trying to bring manufacturing back to America, you’re not going to want to miss this Alden Report interview with Jason Azevedo. This episode is truly a window into the mind of a young entrepreneur as we start by discussing the first apparel business Jason developed at the ripe old age of 15! Starting a very successful apparel company that grew from humble garage beginnings to annual gross billings of over a million dollars is what spiked his interest in the manufacturing side of the industry and the rest was history for him.

In 2009, Jason co-founded Advoque, taking on the role of CEO with duties ranging from conceptual development, engineering, to deployment. Since 2009, Jason’s been at the helm of growing the company year-over-year, acquiring several entities, and creating several others to round out manufacturing efforts. His emphasis on Made In America is a driving force for how the various companies he’s co-founded operate. Jason has worked on many key projects for companies such as Arista Networks, Best Buy, Costco, Disney, EA Games, Intel, Roku, Starbucks, Target, WalMart, and Warner Bros.

Jason is also the General Partner and Chief Strategy Officer of Manufacturing Revitalization Corporation of America (“MRCA”) whose goal is the revitalization of the American worker through the addition of technology and training to create the most effective manufacturing workforce in the world. MCRA acquires companies with a heart and soul, built by dedicated teams ready to scale their respective products and services.

At Jason’s companies, “Made in America” isn’t just a slogan, it’s their driving force.
