Stop Worrying About What Others Think of You
This is tough advice to follow, but stop worrying about what others think or say about you.
People in this social media world are also concerned with what others are doing and saying. The most successful people in the world, since the beginning of time, do not worry about what others say about them. As I continue to become more well-known and my social media accounts continue to grow, it is amazing how much negativity is out there. However, I learned from Napoleon Hill that in order to be successful you need not worry about what others say about you; if you are true to your heart, you are honest and you are righteous.
I had a friend call me up a while ago and ask me if I had seen what a former employee said about me on Facebook. I responded that I hadn’t. She then asked if I wanted to know what was said. I said NO! I don’t care what people say. You see, I know who I am inside. I know the type of person I am. I can sleep at night because I know my character.
ASK yourself, are you living a righteous life, are you doing the right thing each day? Are you improving your life, your family’s life and the lives of people you love and care about? Are you striving for MORE?
If the answer is yes to these questions, then that is all you need to be concerned about. I haven’t spent a lot of time trying to figure out why humans, since the beginning of time, like to scuttlebutt and say negative things about others, but common sense leads me to the realization that those people are not happy. They are upset that they have not ASKED for MORE and they are trying to compensate by attacking others for no reason other than to attempt to make themselves feel better. They are infected with Excusetosis and trying to spread the disease to as many hosts as possible. If you have an opportunity to meet people who say negative things about you or others, get them a copy of Ask More Get More and maybe they will become just like you; successful.
Excusetosis is curable at any time no matter how infected the person is.
We all make mistakes and I am by no means perfect, but I do not worry about what others say or think about me because I know the person I am and I know that I am ASKING MORE out of myself and of others to GET MORE out of life.
